Magellanic Clouds

The Precious Little Moments

By Prodromos PitsillidesPublished 9 years ago 1 min read

Watch the Magellanic clouds,

as they're rising in the dark,

Inspiration for a man.

Are they there or are they not?

One can never know.

Through eternity we march,

nothing to marvel, nor to see,

but the stars will always be

the ones you long to see.

Dawdle the galactic halo,

even that makes you wonder

how can they be, brighter than the stars?

What Olympiodorus failed to realize,

I can see it in your eyes.

Distance stars full of grandeur,

filling into hollow lies.

Watching people in despair,

fighting for the ones they love.

No one will always be there,

don't let your precious gather rust

In the tombs of the unknown

Oh, her somber shadow shows.

How can you be left alone?

Yet, the cold wind still blows...
