Harrowing days, subtle yet

searingly painful.

Broken glass gently pressed into skin

until it bursts,

and the stream of blood is uncontrollable.

whose mind is this?

A familiar place, yet unrecognizable

~ a hazy, bad trip ~

Trapped in a glass house, can someone see through the windows and help?

No chance, the glass is too foggy.

Two women coexist in a body built for one,

~ a Jekyll and Hyde, a Bonnie and Clyde ~

too much activity is tearing at the skin,

Explosion risk! ~ internal combustion likely.

Can't you see the clock counting down?

At the mercy of the moon the fog is lifted,

~ release and relief ~

the only time bloodshed brings peace.
