Dancing in the Moonlight

Across the room and open seas

I’m pulled to you as if by gravity

On an empty beach, you took my hand

Lips crashed like waves, as quick as sand

A single kiss below the white moon’s glow

Our stars forever crossed like Romeo.

A gift received from gold starlight

The gift of love at first sight.

***

Across the sky, you traveled fast

A life with you might never last.

But I took the chance and accepted the chase,

I am tied to you by the knots of fate.

***

A decade has passed and still we shine

Our love as strong as the very first night.
