Seeking to be
Blinded by the light
But here in the dim
murky shadows
We will find our respite.
Glimmering moments pass
In the sun's golden rays
But wrapped up in darkness
Is the end of each day.
Our eyes rest
Our minds rest
All motion stills
To prepare us gently
For the next day's thrills.
If we look at night
As the embrace of a cocoon
Our fears of the unknown
Will be gone so soon.
Lay down your head
Let your eyelids fall
Cover up in bed
Let go of it all.
When the sun sets
And we turn down the lights
Here in the dim
Murky shadows
We will find our respite.
