People tell time with great skill
From seconds to years, with a thrill
It guides us through life
Through joy, pain, and strife
Time is the measure of our will
Time tells us what we’ve done
Whether we choose to stay or run
A gentle reminder
To remove our blinders
This is it, your life, just one
Life can be quite a confusing ride
For many, it's a struggle to decide
Who it is that lives inside
Under societal expectations we hide
Masked and tasked our true selves denied
Businesses are given great might
Immunity shining so bright
But what of the people?
Are we not equal?
True justice should be human right
At the pharmacy, we’re sold the cure
Prescriptions and pills to endure
But let's not forget
The remedies we get
From the farm, natural and pure
Food prices on the rise, it's a pain
Inflation making our wallets strain
From fruits to meat
It's become quite a feat
Affordable health, what's there to gain?
