Lucy

A Little Nightmare Poem

Get out of the way!

one shouted with pleasure

move it, you freak!

hateful words beyond measure

Every day Lucy

was treated so bad

she held it all in

becoming so mad

They pulled on her hair

and threw paper at her head

the rage she was building

would make them wish they were dead

See what they didn't know

was that she tried to be good.

Get good grades, go to school

Just like she should

But poor little Lucy

could never fit in

No matter how she'd try

She would never win

A wicked little witch

is who she was inside

she brewed potions, cast spells,

her school life was a lie

She called her cat Cujo

to follow her home

with her friend by her side,

she would not be alone

Her eyes filled with green

as her anger erupted

She would make them all pay

This good girl was corrupted

Love it...poor Lucy was pushed over the edge. School can be a nightmare! I meant to ask...I assume, you make these dolls? Great little nightmare poem, Sara!
