At a tender age removed,
Bitch replaced human intervention ensues.
Lessons learnt trained to the lead,
Recall with consummate ease.
Wagging tail eyes peer into your soul,
Companion, confidant, finest friend.
Nothing prepares my final tears,
Goodbye old friend,
Honour and privilege till the end.
