Loving someone who isn't mine

your songs destroy me

Loving someone who isn't mine

Consumed by the vibration of his guitar strings,

I can't help it as the sound of his voice starts to sting

Another song about her...

I begin to wonder if all his song are about another girl

Not that I mean anything to him,

knowing we will never be more.

The fluid lines the brim of my eye lids

I swallow hoping for a yawn,

to hide the wetness of my eyes

My heart starts to feel heavy

as I start to feel empty

my thoughts disappear into the red wine in my glass

Will I ever be happy?
