Loveless

Sad

I can’t explain it

But I want to try

I always felt I was the type of woman a

man wanted

Until the age of 24

I realized over and over

Until the age of thirty

I was just the one they wanted to

Fuck

and leave behind

Not a word…

Not a trace…

Just would use me

For what they wanted out of me

Then leave and marry someone else

My self esteem had been sabotage by all these guys

Still, to this day

I feel I’m not good enough

for someone to love

I once had a great smile and stood tall

Now I slouch and have a terrifying look

And push everyone away

I’m a loveless soul

Who at least has learned to love herself.
