Loveable lump

Indescribable care, unmentionable loss

There’s a lump in my throat
In the shape of your name.
Not to whisper, shout, or moan.
But to hold inside forever.
Achingly, silently pressing
Precisely on the spot
Where I’d much prefer
To feel your lovely hand
Gently, but firmly,
Enveloping me.
