Love Song

If it's worth it, it wont be easy.

The siren

Laying on her rock

Feeling the sun's warmth

Caressing her skin

Playing her melody

Like a heartbeat song

In hopes that someday

Someone will come along

For the fool will fall

Like a pirate to his death

Feeding the creatures that live below

The bold will fail

She craves for the strong

The strength of a man

Who won't ever leave her

Or ever coward

For she is one

The one that is hard to find

An adventurer is her kind

In the depths of the ocean

The middle of the sea

Her fins are a part of her

And will always be

About the Creator

Kayton Hickenlooper

I write to clear my mind. To get out of the fog of daily confusion. An artist by heart. To live, laugh, and grow.
