Love-Lorn Fallen Angel redux

This isn’t a real villanelle (I’m not sure) I guess here’s the unedited version

Angel from Fire Walk With Me

My heart begs to exhume your hard head

To excavate and dredge the deep sorrow

You’ve become my pure cacoethes instead

This drowning is a rite of unending dread

I’ll feel it yet deeper on the morrow

My heart begs to exhume your hard head

I’ve fallen, fallen, fallen, yet I’m not dead

I’m ravaged for your fevered words, unsaid

You’ve become my pure cacoethes instead

Darker, darker; my heart is the evil I borrow

Your hard head has exhumed my heart’s deathbed

My heart begs to exhume your hard head

My Halo’s soul dimmed as Death I have wed

These choices I’ve made created a Heaven embargo

You’ve become my pure cacoethes instead

My wings chopped for fury of my love-lorn dread

I clutch onto your ghost as my light starts to go

My heart begs to exhume your hard head

You’ve become my pure cacoethes instead
