Love is a quarter of the way

natural love

By Moharif YuliantoPublished 9 days ago 2 min read

Love is a quarter of the way, a hesitant dance,

Two souls exploring, taking a chance.

Eyes meet across a crowded room,

A flicker of interest, dispelling gloom.

Conversations, light and unsure,

Sharing stories that barely endure.

Laughter bubbles, nervous and quick,

The air itself feels a little thick.

Stolen glances, a secret code,

A touch of fingers on a winding road.

Butterflies flutter, a symphony's beat,

Hearts pounding wildly, skipping a beat.

Interest blooms, a tentative bud,

Curiosity blooming, misunderstood.

Is it just friendship, a casual embrace?

Or the spark of something with a deeper space?

Dates filled with wonder, exploring the new,

Sharing dreams, painted in shades of blue.

Learning the rhythm of each other's soul,

Unveiling secrets, making them whole.

Disagreements erupt, a sudden storm,

Words flung carelessly, warmth turned forlorn.

Learning to navigate the uncharted sea,

Of compromise, respect, and empathy.

Intimacy blossoms, a fragile flower,

Vulnerability shared, in each stolen hour.

Secrets whispered, fears confessed,

A deeper connection, a love put to the test.

Longing glances, stolen kisses in the night,

A fire ignites, fueled by passion's light.

Promises whispered, futures entwined,

A love so potent, it blows your mind.

But doubt whispers, a serpent's sting,

"Is this forever? Can true love take wing?"

The unknown stretches, vast and grand,

Will this love stay strong, or will it shift like sand?

Compromise becomes the dance of love,

Giving and taking, soaring like a dove.

Forgiving mistakes, imperfections embraced,

Building a foundation that forever will last.

Through laughter and tears, the journey unfolds,

Love strengthens, a story untold.

Is it a forever? That's yet to be seen,

But for now, this love is a magnificent dream.

Life throws its punches, trials and strife,

But love stands strong, a beacon of life.

Through thick and thin, they'll weather the storm,

For a love nurtured keeps the body warm.

Years may pass, wrinkles may show,

But the embers of love continue to glow.

A love that started hesitant and shy,

Now blooms into a love that won't ever die.

So love a quarter of the way, hold it tight,

Nurture its flame, with all your might.

For it might just blossom, into a love so true,

A love that will last, forever and through.
