Love and Depression

The Dragon and the princess

In the realms where emotions reside,

Two contrasting spectrums coincide.

Love, a gentle flame that brightly glows,

Depression, a storm where darkness flows.

Love, a tapestry woven with care,

Threads of tenderness in the air.

Depression, a weight upon the soul,

A tempest's grip that takes its toll.

Love, a melody that softly sings,

Whispered words that give us wings.

Depression, a silence, heavy and deep,

A haunting void where tears may seep.

Love, a blossoming garden of delight,

Radiant blooms, colors shining bright.

Depression, a barren and desolate land,

Where shadows dwell, no growth in hand.

Yet, amidst this dance of light and shade,

Hope can flourish, a guiding aid.

Love's embrace, a beacon of light,

That pierces through the darkest night.

In poetry's embrace, I strive to show,

That love and depression, intertwined they grow.

For through our struggles, love can heal,

And bring the heart's weary soul to kneel.

So let us cherish love's soothing grace,

Embrace its warmth in this mortal race.

And in the depths of despair's abyss,

May love's resilience dismiss darkness amiss.
