Deep beneath the mud
she plants her roots to begin
ready to venture.
Dark waters blind her
currents thrusting her about
fish threaten to bite.
Still, she continues
climbing through the harsh unknown
persistently tough.
Reaching the surface
she breaks through the barrier
emerging at last.
Now basking in light
she blooms with striking petals
vibrant in color.
Her beauty now shown
an inch above the water
stretching for the sky.
With patience and growth
she proves her resiliency
divine in her rise.
Much like the lotus
you hold the strength and courage
that longs to flourish.
So trust in yourself
determination within
humbly enchanting.
Aspire to grow
continue in your journey
prepare your petals.
