Stampeding thoughts
running
coursing the canyons
of my mind.
Visuals seen.
Objects come and go
like Alice falling
down a rabbit hole.
Lotto tickets
spewing out
of a machine.
At the touch of
a large red button
the lotto tickets drop
one after the other
after the other.
Numbers are displayed.
Calculations are shown.
What do the numbers
represent
Money?
Lotto tickets?
Winnings?
Yet, No monetary
transactions
are made.
Seeing without glasses,
Hearing isn't a problem.
Stuck in
Lottoland!
Half asleep
half awake
nature calls.
Leaving the comfort
of a cool soft bed,
While Lottoland
lingers.
Step into
the shower
the dream visuals
dissipates.
Cascading cold water,
awakens the
conscience.
