He watched her with open eyes,

but never wanted to take accountability,
He watched her suffer from anxiety caused by his actions.
He watched her suffer from depression.
He watched her consume things that were nothing but detrimental to her health,
he only used her in order to gain wealth.
the rich and prominent men used her.
they used her body for their own pleasure.
Even though she would scream his name,
he was too busy counting notes.
He did watch though.
He watched her turn pale in complexion and her body turning scrawny.
He watched, watched, and watched her until he could no longer watch her no more.
Cause she was no longer visible in his eyes.
Cause
life
ended
for
her
and
death
begun.

At work a few weeks ago, I was using that Spotify DJ thing, the AI tool that slightly bugs me on principle, but not enough for me to boycott it. (You know the one?) Anyway, I was jamming out to songs I was familiar with, a few new ones, and then all of a sudden, I was stopped in my tracks.
