-A lost soul is to not be confused with a dead soul.
-A lost soul hasn’t completely lost hope, but knows something isn’t right.
-A lost soul is in pain because all it’s ever known is HURT.
-A lost soul is just that, LOST!
Yet, that same lost soul, with but a bit of spark can light up the deepest darkest hole one can imagine. Out of that spark, an infinite beam of hope arises and plants the seed for a better tomorrow. Hope is the brightest star in the darkest of nights which points you in the direction of salvation. Just as that lost soul got trapped in a web of despair, that lost soul can be FOUND! That seed for a better tomorrow can now be watered, nurtured and blossom into true happiness. Happiness that can only come from within, which is where it was the whole time. A lost soul is just that. LOST!

In this world, we only get one life. One! One? When I look at it that way, it makes me think. If I only have one life, why do I not value it the way I do others? I used to think it had no value whatsoever, I walked this world lost and unplugged from the very essence that gave me my breath. Life! I feel like I didn’t have one. Pain, agony, and despair made a home in my heart, and decided to get comfortable. How is it that words of comfort and the assurance that things are going to be OK are easy to tell others in distress, yet I don't believe those same words for myself?
