Yet, through it all, Tanya's obsession with the Rokunians grew. She learned of their advanced technology, their philosophies and art.

She discovered secrets of the universe that few humans had ever imagined. But the price she paid was steep. Her once brilliant mind was now a patchwork of hazy recollections and fragmented thoughts.

One night, as she sat at her desk, her hand trembling as she wrote, Tanya felt an overwhelming sense of loss.

She had gained so much knowledge, but in the process, she had lost herself. She looked at the tablet, the symbols glowing faintly, and knew she couldn't continue.
