Lost in thought

Dizzying displays, in a dazzled mind,

Inscrutable exterior, interior—split; the end, I cannot find.

Satiate my wanderlust with wonder-lust, of a kind.

Toppled is the thought once twined;

Reason is mined.

At a loss, in that moment, I have a new spellbind.

Concentrate! Remain on this, in this thought, be confined!

To the moment before, what was assigned?

I cannot recall through this veil of word-blind…

Only there, something for me, to remind…

New object in sight! My concentration, once again, declined.
