Lost in the Woods

Searching for a familiar voice,

I am alone in the woods,

Lost among the quiet trees looming over me,

Eager branches brushing against my hair,

Not an option to stop,

Continuing calling his name through the woods I must,

Enduring the fear growing with each failed answer.
