Lost in Solitude

Remembering Friendship Amidst Tears

By Lily💜 Published 18 days ago 1 min read

In solitude, the world is forgotten,

Talking about you with all my breath.

Heart pierced, soul in pain,

Can the friendship we trusted return again?

We chatted away, laughed out loud,

Roamed carefree, now parted halfway.

In the night, as a shadow, I lost both of you,

Who will know my tears in the rain?

Is it a continuing story in his absence?

Or a riddle in his eyes?

From now on, I've become solitary, is friendship an act?

We existed for each other, born daily,

Now separated by directions,

Lost in the wedding wilderness.

With the dewdrop flower and a few acquaintances,

I'll never forget when you said,

"Where is the end to friendship?"

I can't forget either,

I cry tears without a shore,

I was because of you, I will be because of you,

A day will come that brings back friendship.
