In this digital age we live,
Where screens are all we see,
Kids are consumed by technology,
And it fills them up completely.
Their little eyes are fixed,
On the glowing screens they hold,
Their fingers dance across the keys,
As they grow more and more bold.
They can access any information,
With just a tap or two,
And in the world of social media,
They find a place that's new.
But as they scroll and swipe,
Their childhood slips away,
And the real world fades to black,
In the glare of the screen's bright display.
They lose touch with nature,
With friends and family too,
Their minds are lost in the virtual,
And there's little left that's true.
So let us take a step back,
And limit the screens we use,
For the sake of our children's futures,
And the memories they'll get to choose.
Let's encourage them to play,
Outside in the sun and rain,
To run and laugh and explore,
And be kids again.
