LOST

I LOVED YOU AND SUPPORTED YOU BACK IN THE DAY WHEN WE PLAYED DID WE CARE. DID YOU SHARE THE DREAM I HAD FOR US TO LIVE TILL WE ARE OLD

I STOOD HERE HOLDING TO THE WORDS YOU SAID AND THEY SLIPPED AWAY LIKE AWAKING OF A DREAM I CAN NOT GO BACK TO

STUCK WITH THE PICTURE OF YOU THE SILENT FRAM THE FROZEN IMAGE OF YOU

I WROTE YOU THE OTHER DAY YET WHEN THE INK HIT THE PAPER IT DRIED UP LIKE THE TEARS AND BLOOD ON THE GROUND FROM WHERE MY HEART FELL

surreal poetry
