Lost at Sea

(This is more of an experimental style. Mainly free verse. What do you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts!)

Waves of you keep crashing into me.

Crushing,

drifting in the tidal pools, I’m trapped,

Breathless.

***

Suffocating on the jagged coral.

Beautiful,

but dangerous. Which way is up?

Kicking,

***

but going nowhere.

Struggling,

stuck within the current

Electric.

***

Blue lightening strikes

Ionic, I rise.

A storm cloud

floating

***

over saturated sand

made of glass crystals.
