Lost and Found

Stages of life

The lost not mindful of the seclusion

Masks of ego whirl round and round the roulette

Separation of existence, existential monarchy of self

True to the false, spirit not of body

Wandering aimlessly without purpose of direction

The body leads but the heart does not follow

Conundrums of anarchist suppositions

Meandering the dry channels of rivers once theatric

Picasso like disposition as the body rubiks the spirit

As the child slanders adulthood

As the uncleansed stay clothed in sackcloth

Falsely condemning the cleansed

Gutta Cavat Lapidem

The found, secure; still

Consistent of linear drips

Eroding the seemingly impenetrable

Universal elements break through

Exasperating that which once was and is no longer

Energy transversing through the cosmos

Each vessel transparent, equipped with purposeful direction

Flowing through each, connected to the Omniscient

Walking through the rubble of Babylonia

Dust glitches in and out of existence

Seasons combine to create a humid, frozen winter

Gazing into the broken glass shards of a mirror

Once held with pride and idolatry

Projecting visions of the old, lost self, now found

Absent in the body, present in the spirit

Completeness.

About the Creator

Vincent Lee Blaison

Life's wisdom permeates through each moment hoping to grasp onto a willing mind. To drink from a saucer would be success found in few that would seek to have a truly open mind. I write in hopes the overflow would splash upon lives willing.
