Lost Again, Home Again

Run away, run toward

By Makenna BoltonPublished 4 months ago 1 min read

I found that quite possibly

I was running away

To what would I run toward

when my dreams at dismay

Out of respect for myself

I paced in my solitude

A beastly spirit in a beauty virtue

insanely weird

A change in plans

Can be joyful indeed

To run from judgement at

the expense of my content

Is a price too expensive

burning money with the step

No one place is home

A nomadic soul

Love always with her

A poetic death toll

surreal poetry
