♫♪♫♪♪
He looked upon the sky
wondering why
Beauty so far away
Gazed up at the stars
asks how he lived
another day
hours on hours
the time goes by
the same song on repeat
always stuck in a loop
existing his own way
He gets up with the
with the sun
time to rise
sleep stuck in his eyes
heads to work
doesn't remember
the morning drive
He goes through the motions
a zombie inside
his daily prayer
is that someone
will show mercy
end his life
He walks the same routine
it's just day in
day out
He thinks about
his love
with a failing heart
He casts aside his soul
because he can't
see what it's about
waiting patiently
his mind rots
inside to the out
can't bring
a smile passed
the tears that tear him apart
Society just glares at him
all they see is
nothing, a waste of time
another face
on the way to yet another
dollars pay
They don't see the scars
the person he was
just the shell he's become
they don't even care
as they trample him
no they don't even care
what they've done
the monster they’ve
made him become
He looks upon the sky
and he wonnders
how it would feel to fly
to have comet
come crashing down
to watch it end
Why am I alive
let the emptiness die
flash of light!
clash of thunder!
fade to black...
It'll be alright...
He stares up
at the stars...
Tears clouding his eyes...
he asks... (piano fade)
Why ...
Is she so sadden
He just drops
his heavy hand
knows
he's to blame
as she screams his name
and says good bye
his heart just dies (3 simple notes)
He lays there on the ground
on the air
not a sound
longs for the moon
silently he cries
My Work
I tend to write a lot of things like this, what could be considered poems, occasional songs. I have a few novels that are partially written, as well as a completed poem epic and thousands of thoughts and little words of wisdom and philosophy. Sadly for each one there are millions in my head that will never see the light of day and hundreds said aloud that are lost forever. All I ask is that you don't freely use my work without asking. It is frustrating when I see others using my work and claiming it as their own.Thank you. Kaloriinn, James. Mason
