Just you’re average, everyday, sad poet. By the way, does everything have to hurt?

Look in her eyes,
Deep in her soul.
Look very closely,
For you will know.
That the shattered heart,
Left in place.
Was so much harder to deal with,
While trying to hide,
Her devastated face.
She lets out a laugh,
And gives you a smile.
But that is her mask,
Which will be kept for awhile.
Her true emotions,
Will be forever hidden.
Because showing them to you,
Is completely forbidden.
