In solitude, where whispers weave their tales,
Stands a sentinel of time, weathered and frail,
Beneath a sky that weeps with azure hue,
The lonely tree stands tall, a silent cue.
Its branches reach with longing fingertips,
To touch the stars in their celestial trips,
But bound to earth, it bears the weight of years,
A witness to joy, to sorrow, and to tears.
Through seasons dance, it stands in stoic grace,
Each leaf a memory, each scar a trace,
Of storms that passed and gentle zephyrs' sigh,
A testament to life beneath the sky.
Yet in its solitude, a quiet strength resides,
Embracing solitude, where peace abides,
For in its lonely vigils, it finds release,
A gentle sway, a whispered song of peace.
O lonely tree, your silent tales we hear,
Of resilience, of solitude held dear,
In your shade, we find a refuge true,
Beneath the canopy that shelters you.
So stand, O tree, in solitary might,
A beacon in the day, a sentinel at night,
And teach us in your silence, wise and free,
The beauty found in being simply... a tree.
