Living Together As Family

Imagine all the chaos,

Of grandkids running in and out,

Parents trying to cook,

While the uncles and aunts,

Are shouting and about.

The laundry piling high,

The bathrooms always in use,

But in all this bedlam,

We find love, we can't refuse.

We share meals and laughter,

And stories late at night,

We bicker and we fuss,

But everything feels just right.

With grandma's hugs, and grandpa's jokes,

We find the warmth, in our hearts it soaks.

It's clear that living together

Wouldn't be easy,

But the love and joy,

Would make it all worth it, believe me.
