Living On Borrowed Ropes

We're All Living That We may Die!

Living on borrowed ropes, we all are.

Oh, life’s for rent because we aren’t promised tomorrow.

So, whilst we’re still here,

Live and love all you can, while you can because time passes you by.

And in the twinkle of an eye, just like a candle in the wind, it’s all gone.

By all means, be good.

By all means, be kind.

Because that is the only thing you can control, the rest isn’t up to you.

Tell the ones you love how much you do every day when your lips can still move.

Show them without holding back.

Build all the memories you can, that’s all we are in the end, just memories.

Wouldn’t you rather be a good one?

Oh, life is vain!!

Like a switch, it flips.

Then comes the void.

The hollow emptiness.

No one is making it out of here alive.

What then is the whole essence of all the covetousness, fights, hate and bickering?

Why put another down when you can simply be the light and create a beautiful reflection that illuminates their life’s path?

Lauren London said “You better love the people that God loaned you because he’s going to want them back one day”

So, love with reckless abandon – boldly and unashamed.

Live life to the fullest with no guilt.

None of us is making it out of here alive.

We’re all living that we may die!!!

This has a really important message and you express it so well and so eloquently. The concept of life is for rent, we aren't promised tomorrow, very true, amazing imagery.
