Time I was

monochromatic.

Colorless

Clutch charismatic

Pseudo self

Scene emblematic

embracing

my enigmatic

displacing

scornful stigmatic

erasing

ego’s emphatic

replacing

flourish to static

hold fast

young man

times past

young man

loss vast

old man

dies cast

cold man

move fast

bold man

bloom blast

hues man

contrast

view man

contracts

new man

This poem I wrote about the manifestation of self-hate that occurs from violations whether it be from abusive relationships or more sinister means such as rape. I have struggled with these feelings for many years at the end of the write my inference is that you can change how you see yourself all it takes is a little awareness.
