Little Pill

Rx

Healing

Little pill, little pill,

The world you try to fill.

Blue, white, orange, green,

Doesn’t matter, you know what I mean.

Feeling off? Here you go,

That’s where it starts, welcome to the show.

Numb and empty, nothing inside,

Run from the world, go and hide.

Show them your heart, maybe they’ll see,

Keep taking the pills, you’ll never be free.

Mental, unstable, unhinged, “crazy,”

Whatever they say, you’ll just feel lazy.

Brain fog thick, clouds every spark,

Capsules, liquids, “aid” in the dark.

All your light, slowly it fades,

Your mind trapped in pharmaceutical shades.

But here’s the fire, still deep in your chest;

The part that creates, and won’t rest.

It fights the fog, it bleeds through the pain,

A spark, a song, a life you reclaim.

Take back your flow, one step, one day,

Discover ways to heal, and still find your way.

Holistic, mindful, your rhythm, your tune,

The pill can’t steal the soul of your moon
