Little light specks telling me to wait
A poem about something that happens to us all
The little specks of light that dance and play
As I stand up too fast and lose my way
They twirl and spin, a cosmic show
A reminder that I have to go slow
They flash and fade, a fleeting sight
But they bring me back to what's right
A reminder to take it easy, to not rush
And to appreciate the little hush
So I'll take a deep breath and savor the view
Of those little specks that come into view
And I'll take my time, and not rush ahead
For the beauty in life is in the things we don't dread
So here's to the specks, the little bright sparks
That remind me to live life with a beating heart.
