Little Child
Deep within every soul, There lies a little child
Deep within every soul,
There lies a little child,
Innocent and pure,
Untouched by the harsh realities of life.
The child within us,
Longs to be heard,
Longs to be understood,
Longs to be loved.
Like a fragile flower,
It waits to bloom,
To spread its wings,
And play in the light.
But as we grow older,
We forget about that child,
We bury it deep within,
And drown its voice in the noise of the world.
Yet, every now and then,
We catch a glimpse of it,
In a moment of joy,
Or a fleeting memory.
And in those moments,
We are reminded of the innocence,
The curiosity,
The wonder of that child within.
So let us not forget,
To nurture that child,
To listen to its whispers,
To let it guide us in this journey called life.
For deep within every soul,
There lies a little child,
Waiting to be set free,
To unleash its magic upon the world.
