Within my aged hands, it whispers low of
shapes within, and stories to show.
Its inner rings a map,
of twists and turns to know
where gentle curves and
strong lines grow.
-=-
In silent hours, I hear its voice.
Guiding my tools, a waltz of choice.
Between surrender and creative force
where wood and soul entwine, endorse.
-=-
Through shavings fallen, like autumn leaves
Its essence rises and breathes.
Freedom in beauty, my heart receives
as the wood's secrets, my spirit retrieves.
-=-
Each grain, a testament to time and earth.
A chronicle of life and gentle rebirth.
Through my chisel, wood's soul takes flight,
As shavings dance on this moonlit night.
-=-
As splinters fall, stories unfold of
of ancient forests and tales of old.
With every cut, a memory frees.
Whispers of winds that gently breeze.
-=-
Through trees that stood where lovers would roam
and roots that held secrets of a distant home.
In wood's warm scent, I smell the past.
Echoes of laughter that forever last.
-=-
The forest whispers secrets in my ear of
ancient wisdom, and love that's clear.
In every curve, a story's sway
of branches stretched on a sunny day.
-=-
Roots of strength, in darkness, stood tall,
echoing hearts that loved through it all.
With wood dust soft, as silent snow,
my workshop peaceful, as a lover's glow.
-=-
The wood's wild heart now beats as mine
Together crafting love divine.
Another masterpiece, added to my collection,
as I create and listen to love's reflection.
