Listen

A Poem

He wouldn't listen

when I said to stop.

He wouldn't listen

when I said "no."

He wouldn't listen

when I pulled my shirt down,

when I buttoned up my pants.

He only listened

when I fake moaned

as his hands explore my lips,

and not the ones on my face.

He only listened

when I pushed down my shirt

and covered my boobs with my hands.

He only listened

when I lied and said

that I have to go home

to do laundry.

I only listened

to his moans,

when he sucked at my face,

like it was the last thing he'll eat.

I only listened

to his heartbeat,

to forget the feeling

that I was falling apart.

I only listened

to my demons,

telling me I should want this.

Screaming at me that I deserve this.
