Liquid Crystal Displays Hate, now “Progress”
renata Pastuszak
listen, there’s a strange use to the darkness that’s illuminated into the background of the screen.
.
the light that flickers and flashes, little beams directed by code
.
to illuminate the, a, uh, universe. and your eyes flit to them like flies because of the one thing. attraction to the color. which one? race, to the end, to find out.
.
imagine holographic microscopic tiny.
.
teensy tine-sea.
.
twine sea. one can create such a dream in photoshop.
.
rough twine,
sharp see Cut
.
black C whip.
.
crack!
.
imagine. through the light, darkness does. the most powerful and resilient, do, too.
.
though, techno evolution brought on the
.
NON ILLUMINATING BLACKS.
.
in the form of nowadays, AM OH LED.
.
A M O LED.
.
Light Emitting Diode.
.
that thin film material behind the pixels.
that fragile mesh of family. of humanity.
.
active-matrix. am. organic. o. light-emitting diode.
.
led. into darkness because of the WHITES, PEOPLE.
.
and the fear of uniquely different sexual tastebuds.
.
into the darkness forever because no longer are the days of Liquid Crystals, no.
.
those were too vibrant, and
.
wasteful. it seems. they needed control.
.
they weren’t into the spreading of rain onto the bow of an arrow-tipped stylus.
.
it drags firmly enough to dig a gash into the screen. the universe. pours into the darkness into the world into out of the selfishness and power-trips.
.
ego trips. trips. over the extension cord powering it all and FWOOP. ultraviolet now. there’s been a change.
.
it didn’t come quick enough
.
too many died.
.
too many killed for having their color and loving their lover.
.
there’s a fight back, a refuge. a refuse. fix the broken fuse!
.
fight the gash that started the hate. fight the darkness that started it all. selfish greed disappear, behind a screen, masking itself,
.
calling itself,
.
cooling itself,
.
coloring on itself on it all of the torture it’s been through. it bleeds.
.
down onto and into the screen now. they’re repairing it.
.
it’s okay. we’re going to be okay,
.
now.
