Limerence

Touching the memory

By EbonyPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

It's tender,

It's kind,

It's...

Savoring tears, you will never see.

You haunt that piece of me,

Dissolving into obscurity.

Hell is putting out the fire you started,

Cascading mounds of flesh and water,

Submitting my heart to the slaughter.

An ache you authored,

The blank pages you offered,

Appears your mind is unbothered.

A state of rumination,

An open soul operation,

Me and myself a sad conversation.

Some call it limerence,

A sweet passionate incoherence,

Dreamy self-damaging persistence.

Visualize the painful affection,

My brains false perception,

Gods' cruel deception.

It's merciless,

It's bitter...

It is all unfinished.

It is unfinished
