Limbo

There are no exit signs when you are in limbo.

Burn out my tongue, I am aching over you.

Don't you feel my spirit, clawing at your wounds?

Put your face towards mine

so you can see my eyes roll back at your every complaint.

Look into my eyes you self proclaimed Saint.

Feed on my anxiousness, let it rest in your hands.

Bleed by my side my friend as we rot the night away.

Our souls and futures decaying as one.

Please let us play pretend and keep wasting time.

Don’t look at the clock. Don’t look at the Sun.

Don’t believe in time.

For it will make you lose faith in yourself

when you realize all you have wasted.

Lock the door and melt the key.

Stockholm syndrome.

Beauty and the beast.

The puppet and her master.

The blind leading the weak.
