Limbic Limerick

I am constantly surprised by the weird squeaking of almonds, as I eternally expect them to be satisfyingly crunchy. I write about this betrayal often.

The limbic system deals with emotion and memory

So I’m wondering then, how can it be

That neuron based organ

Has let me down again

I’ve fallen for almond shaped trickery

sometimes I write almond themed poetry
