Like a gentle breeze

Parodying the Poetry of Jorge Luis Borges

In the garden of forking paths, we stroll,

Where time bends and reality takes its toll.

But in this parody, let's twist the plot,

And have some fun with the words he taught.

A library infinite, with books galore,

But wait, it's all about cats, nothing more.

For in this parody, feline tales we'll tell,

From whiskers to paws, their stories compel.

A secret tiger, lurking in the night,

Unleashing its wrath, with all its might.

But lo and behold, it's just a tabby,

A clever disguise, a feline parody.

The mirrors reflecting, distorted and strange,

Reveal not our faces, but those of dogs, in range.

For in this parody, reality is askew,

The world of canines, a Borgesian view.

A labyrinthine map, intricate and vast,

Leading us nowhere, in circles we're cast.

But let's parody the path, and make it absurd,

With twists and turns, a maze of absurd words.
