Like a Building

how tall it stands at times

Like a Building

Standing tall like a building close to the Empire

Nearly knocked down by heavy winds

Some are heavier than the floods it faced

And that's rare when it sees water coming its way

Saw more people step on the hardwood floors and leave the footprints behind

With dirt, trash, spilled water and other junk left in the way of others blocking them

No matter how it gets knocked down

Its gets reconstructed with new parts and updates

No wrecking ball swinging by this time around

Unless the cracks starting showing and it crumbles

No more repairs after this not just the cost

Everything is hard to bear
