my thoughts are dark
my dreams are light
my hopes are gone
my fears arrive
my voice raised high
My thoughts find solace under the stars in the dark
My dreams are blinded by the intensity of light
My hopes are gone, replaced by goals
My fears arrive so I may vanquish them
My voice raised high in jubilation
my eyes squeezed close
my shaking hands hide
my running legs take flight.
There is Darkness in the Light
There is Lightness in the Dark
