Light the candle, sister, and

watch as the smoke plumes to the skies,

carrying your power and

dispersing it within the universe.

Do you feel the tug in your heart?

That’s the universe pulling the slack out

of the threads that connect us all,

reminding you that we are a cosmic family.

Whisper the words, sister,

the same words, the same spells, that

our ancestors whispered in the shadows alone,

In fear of what the world would do if they were heard.

Can you feel the tingling sensation?

That’s the universe accepting those words,

whispering, I hear you, I see you, a reminder that

as long as there are stars in the sky you are never alone.

Pour the oil, sister, and indulge

in the moments that bring your spirit to light,

that reconnect you to the cosmos and beyond,

and promise, that you’ll keep your magic spark alive.
