Light In The Darkness

There's always hope.

In all the world unseen

Never before have I laid eyes on something such as this

Rest, young ones, for this is but a thing

A thing that will not last

With each rise of the challenge

Comes an answer for such burdens

Believe in the warmth of their light

For without, they leave the world uncertain

They are there, hidden in the magic of all things

The ones who walk silently throughout the crowds

Having seen the world and all its strange riddlings

Coming forth when others say no, rather loud

Ones who rise and offer the hands needed when it is time

The guardians of the flock left to maintain them until ready

The caring and real, who are only there to live out their days

Their real purpose is not known even to them

Deliverers from the darkness, they are one of a kind

Sent with gossamer wings on a mission

Forever the strong, and the capable of carrying it all

When even the toughest warriors have taken a fall

Be blessed by their warm and guiding light

Do well with their hand to guide you

For they are not gods or of the divine

Only the ones who are sent to get you through

Rise and take the reins one day

Your time to be needed, it shall come

Remembering when asked why

You're there at the right time because they needed someone

The harshest of challenges require but a little effort

And they've come to see you through

Even the unthinkable can be beaten

Take that hand offered to you
