Many see the Success,
Don't know Half the Story.
Pictures hold by Frame,
Innocent behind Bars,
That's Frame.
How Unfortunate.
Everybody Need Love,
What is Love?
This Feeling affecting the Body.
Drive us Crazy,
To the Moon & back,
No wonder We are scared,
The Side Effects & Emotional Sickness.
So Unfortunate.
A Friend Indeed is a Friend Indeed,
Late Night Emergency,
Help or a Window Peep?
Should the Door Unlock,
Trust Or Bite the Dust?
Sunlight Friends or Truly Real?
It's Unfortunate.
Like Father Like Son,
The faces Resemble,
Walking the Street,
Splitting image of your Daddy,
Some Never got a chance to See,
Just living of memories or possibilities.
How Unfortunate.
Alligators & Chickens,
They both lay Eggs,
All People breathe the Same,
Mankind just act Different.

The Last Resident
This story took place in the spring of 2018, when my friend and I were 21 years old. We had met in high school and bonded over our shared love of outdoor adventure. There's an old railroad-turned-gravel trail that winds through the heavy forests and valleys near our midwestern town for over 10 miles.

On Winning and Losing
Recently, the pleasant surprise of placement on the Vocal Bonus Leaderboard sent me down a rabbit hole. Now, rabbit holes are a pretty common place for me to spend time, but I don't always feel the call to write about them. To be honest, the thought of sharing some of them mortifies me.
