Life

What is this thing we call life? Does anyone truly know what is it or it’s purpose? For some life is luxurious and exciting, a place where money and beauty can get you anything you want. But, is that living? Is that life? Life can be over in an instant, snuffed out in the blink of an eye. Life can be long and prosperous and humble, it can even give you new life but in the end it always goes away. Is life something we can really trust when we don’t know from day to day if we’ll see the sun or the moon and stars again. Life can be fleeting and we run and exhaust ourselves trying to catch up, never taking the time to enjoy the beauty around us. We are too busy to care about what is going on, too busy to stop and breathe, too busy to love what we have and not lust over what we do not have, we’re too busy to slow down in this thing called life. We are the ones that are supposed to control life but instead we allow life to dictate our every move, so I ask again, what is life…friend or foe
