Life is a gift: wake everyday and realized that.....

No doubt life in its all forms enjoys a very high status in Islam. Human life is one of the most sacred creatures of God. Therefore, it must be appreciated, respected and protected.This article helps to understand why life must be appreciated and respected.

In Islam, life is sacred and one of the greatest gifts and blessings of God. Every moment of life hasgreat value and is irreversible. Therefore, It must be protected and appreciated, even if it has a poor quality. The guiding principle of Islamic biothics is " whoever slays a soul, unless it is for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as thugh he slew all men and whoever keeps it alive, it is as though be kept alive all men". (Quran:5:32). According to this verse, saying life is an obligation and the unwarranted taking of life is a major crime in what follows.We will tryto explore more the value of life in Islam and then see how is safegardede in the iIslamic law and ethics.

Life is divine quality. Among God's attributes and names in the iIslamic scriptures, the living "(al-Hayy)"is one of the most obvious and outstanding one.

Life must be appreciated and respected. Killing an innocent person not only is considered as a criminal act (i.e. murder), but also represents an underrestimation or an insult to human life as a whole.. the fact that is interestingly expressed in the following verse.

For the reason we prescribed to the children of Israel that whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men, and whoever keeps alive all men, and certainly our messengers come to them with clear proofs, but even after thu many of them certainly act extravagantly in land. (uran:5:32)
